A Meditation on the Return to Nazareth

by Donald F Hudzinski

This meditation is on the words of Christ to His father and mother, “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in My Father's house?(Lk 2:49)” What wonderful words of consolation for Christ's father and mother.

He was telling them all that the old temple in Jerusalem was obsolete for it was based on the fallen marriage of Adam and Eve. There is a new temple now, and it is based on the marriage of Joseph and Mary, and it is in Nazareth, and it will always be my New Temple and I will never leave It.

The Catholic Church is based on this New Temple, Christ entered that day.

Dear Don, What a wonderful analogy! The new temple built by Christ Himself which He said of, "The gates of hell shall not prevail against". The ultimate and complete defeat of evil. Although evil would still exist in the world, Christ said, "Come to me and I will give you rest". The church is a place of rest especially when you believe all that the church teaches. It is only when we protest the teaching of the cahtolic church that we become restless again and go looking for "something better". My brother in law who suffered from dementia in his old age used to say over and over, "That's really something". Even though he was trying to be polite, what he really meant is that that was really nothing. If only everyone in the world could see for themselves what is truly valuable about the church, this world would entirely come to rest in the Love of Christ.

In the Holy Love of God I am your brother in Christ and my name is Royal

Dear Royal,

Being that we are the Body of Christ, I view the Church in the arms of Joseph and Mary. He trusted them and so do I.

I find the Church held in these loving arms forever...
