Hi, I just found out about "Our Lady of America".  She appeared in Ohio to a nun that died in the year 2000.  She came to give messages for the United States!  Her apparitions, messages and prayers are fully approved by the church.  You can read about the approval at www.ourladyofamerica.com and her messages.  She has asked for a statue to be built of her and for it to be enshrined in the National Immaculate Conception Basilica in Wash. D.C. (which hasn't happened yet).  Her statue is 9 feet and she looks American!  The statue went to ground zero on 9/11 and to St. Patrick's cathedral in NY and will be going to the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Newark, NJ the last week of this month and Howell, NJ.  She promised many miracles, especially spiritual.  My sister-in-laws brother was dieing and she had her whole family prayer to her and he was healed and went home from the hospital in two days.

Jen Mary, There is also in Chimayo, New Mexico a miraculous healing coming from a Catholic church. Many years ago a crucifix was buried in the ground in Chimayo and found. When the parishoners dug it up, they had the priest install the crucifix in the church. The next day the crucifix was missing and they found it back in the ground. So they installed it in the church again and later again it was missing and found back in the ground. The third time they installed it in the church and the third time it was missing and back in the ground so the parishoners left the crucifix buried and built a new church above the crucifix. Many travelers who stop there are healed from blindness, deafness, crippled, diseased etc. I wrote the priest there who sent me a bagful of soil from the church property and have blessed myself with it. I have already received a miracle although I cannot tell as it was a condition of the miracle.

I have for many years attended the all night vigils which are coordinated by the Archdiocese in honor of the Blessed Mother. Every month the vigil starts on the first friday at 8pm and ends at 6am. It is difficult to stay awake all night, although it is worth the effort. I always feel so much more enlightend whenever I attend.

Thank you for the link to our lady of america. I will enjoy it.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

Ave Maria!

Our Lady of America is an approved event!  Recently there was a procession of a statue of Our Lady under this title at ground zero.

(see www.AirMaria.com for more info on that).  A statue is at the cathedral in Cheyenne and may have been returned to St. Louis. There are bishops, such as Archbishop Burke, that have acknowledged approval.
