Ave Maria! The most common time to make or remake the St. Louis de Montfort 33 days of preparation for Marian Consecration is February 20th-March 25th. Now this year March 25th is in Easter week and will be celebrated the following week, I believe. However I just follow the date as I have every year since 1996. Will you join me? I know I am in need of a reconsecration and a growing closer to Our Blessed Lady so as to grow closer to her Son, Our Precious Lord.

Hi josephmary.  The link for the 1st 12 days wouldn't open for me, but the weeklies after that are okay.  Count me in.

Try this link http://www.fisheaters.com/totalconsecrationmontfort.html

I found it to easier to follow and all the links opened. I also couldn't determine what I wasn't able to view on the links from JosephMary's post. I'm considering joining you three. Thank you, JosephMary, for bringing this beautiful devotion to our attention!

I but the book by Montfor--True Devotion and am still confused on what I am to do to complete consecration--I have read the links and am still confused.  Can anyone explain?

If you have the book (like I do) read what it says for that day and then go and read the prayers for that day.  Then recite your Rosary.  I'm not really using the links because I had then book form completing this in the past.

Depends on what you call done.  Meditation on the book readings and prayers are part of this.  Praying the Rosary daily is a big part.  Also going to Confession every two weeks as part of this process.  And then at the end you must attend Mass.

eli1118: True Devotion is de Montfort's book about Marian devotion. Total Consecration is the book (or using the links provided) for performing the act of Total Consecration to Jesus Through Mary. Finishing True Devotion is step one, prior to beginning the consecration. Occasionally, some printings of True Devotion have the Consecration as an appendix. I have found the fisheaters.com site (provided by WIP above) to be very helpful. My family used it for the consecration ending December 8th of this past year. If you go to step three on the fisheaters site, you should be on day 7. In Christ, Michael
