Unfortunately, there is not one single good book for you to recommend. I can recommend
Catholicism and Fundamentalism, by Keating to address specific points of contention or
Orthodoxy, by Chesterton, which is a more autobiographical story of conversion. Mark Shea's
By What Authority? should probably be on the list, too, since, to my mind, everything Christian rests on Catholic authority (The Bible, The Sacraments, The Eucharist, The Trinity...everything).
