Proclaim Christ the King to the Nations

As somebody was accusing Catholics of being cowardice and avoiding debates.

First off Christ admonishes to not get into Debates because they serve another purpose other than charity.   Christ Himself was tempted by His accusers
during the trial.  He only spoke what was truth and He avoided debating at all costs,
because debating is a temptation to go beyond charity.  It only serves an ego of pride.  Ever watch presidential candidates on tv?  Pharisess were always trying to get Jesus to debate them.  Read His responses.  It's best to say a few words of truth than to appease their egos.  And show your faith by works.  The quite way.
In the closet of prayer.  Build up your prayers in secret and watch it blossom over time.  Pray for holy things to happen such as for married couples, instead of asking that God change someones habits, pray for them to have a happy ending in this life
and enter in Heaven.  We are all trying to blossom for God so He can enjoy His fruits
of labor.

When it comes to proclaiming the Gospel it should be done in meekness with truth, for Christ said I came to bring a "sword".  The sword He is referring to is the Truth, the Word which will divide an household of believing and non-believing, divide co-workers, friends, relatives and so on.  This is the hard truth.  Jesus said it.  So we must be prepared for the long-short haul ahead after proclaiming the Gospel.  We already see it's fruits since Christ spoke these words.  The world is divided within it's
self and the inhabitants of the Earth are divided amongst each other.  Division.  This has to happen in order for the chaff to be weeded out, sifting.  Lambs on the right Goats on the left.

The Good News is Christs Doctrine His New Covenant to mankind who accept His words.  He loves all.  His Mercy extends to all.  He wishes for all to love Him and live with Him forever.  He desires true hearts, to truly love and seek Him.  Amen.

Let us take back our nations for Christ that we may console His sorrow and give Him peace and love like good children.

Peace

bhokuto, This is what Jesus had to say about debates: Daily Bible VerseEditMinimizeClose
 Mat 12:34-36New International Version
You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen

Perhaps it is worth considering 1 Peter 3:15:

Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you.

What is the Angus dei?

God bless,

NoelFitz.

I thought Angus was a Scottish name.

I did a Google search and found Angus Cattle, Angus the Movie and Angus Council, Scotland.

Sorry!

God bless,

NoelFitz.
