So have all of us old e3mil & pre-gmail patrons abandoned ship?
Has the life gone out from the old crowd?
Has the spirit become disenchanted?

Answers:
Pretty much.
Ditto.
Absolutely, This new look is not attractive. Does anyone know if the avatars are gone forever (not necessarily a bad thing).

No more feedback loops? Dismaying

I'm still here, too...not much to moderate, though!
Life's been very hectic these past 2 weeks, and will be for at least another week. Hence my own silence.

Would love to see something here resurrected.
Would love to see some of the old functionality back, too!

Don't really have time. Would like to.

I don't have time to learn the new format. I do think though that simpler is better. Things seem to be way more complex and non-intuitive on this and the last roundtable. This is by far the worst of the three. I have no way to really track which threads I have posted on. So, I am slowly learning to find my way by shear will. I much prefered the original - original format before these two changes. The only thing I would have improve on the first format is a post numbering system in each thread. That way you could see which posts are in reference to which past posts. For example, I could post in reply to post #1 of a thread and my post would say something like "Post 15, in reply to post #1."

well, i manage to log in again, but clicking on log in at the bottom of the screen bring you to the top level tool bar with no instructions. clicking on log in up there brings you to a huge log in screen that starts you at your profile with almost no way to get back to the main sight accept a little bitty piece of text at the top that says main site. sorry you guys are having so much trouble. this is not very intutive though. I don't mean to be a winer but it is hard to figure out what needs to go on to post and difficult to track which post have changed. Does anyone really use RSS to post back to a discussion board? I've never heard of that or seen that option
on an RSS reader. I mean it makes sense for articles but a discussion board?

I'm confused how do I use that.
