I simply will punctuate this topic with Christ's simple admonition: 'If you love Me, you will keep My Commandments' (John 14:15) and "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love." (John 15:10)
As sinners we do try to 'conditionalize' love as we see fit, rather than as Christ has commanded, expects of us and will use to save us in His love. For, love so conditioned is no love at all.
