Please, take a look at the information provided just by the site, http://www.demographicwinter.com/index.html# let alone thinking of acquiring the associated DVD.

In association with this oncoming cultural, economic, societal ice age among, essentially, those of Indo-European origins, I also have to agree with the commentators who warn that increases in Muslim immigrant populations are worse than a bad answer to demographic problems. Our own illegal (Latino-based) immigration problems also are a poor answer, since like the bulk of Muslims, these local immigrants do not bring 1. desire to assimilate and 2. economically progressive education and training and attitudinal traits to "our growing needs to grow", which after all is more than just spiritually.

Or, do you consider shari'a - Muslim theocracy and thug-ocracy - some kind of desirable progress?

I feel in the wars at present, as I seem to disagree a lot recently.

I am out of the US for years, so I may be completely out of touch also.

I would have thought that Latinos (Hispanics??) would have added to US life and to the Church in the US. As many of them are undocumented and due to poverty have to work such long hours it may be difficult for them to integrate immediately.

As you know I do have a thing about American education. At its best it is the best in the world, but there sometimes seems to me to be an anti-education streak in American life and Catholicism.

We have discussed this previously.

Noelfitz,

You write: "I feel in the wars at present, as I seem to disagree a lot recently."

Please unpack that, at 'I feel in the wars' and 'I disagree a lot'

We educate less and less, but settle for very expensive vocational training on top of politically correct conformity. You (and I) read more books in any period than 95% of supposed professional 'educators'. I am often surprised at how poorly informed they are about studies in their very own field. One grand aspect of homeschooling is that the dedicatedly obligated parents have to be students along with their offspring students, and of course more diligent students, at that. After all, for instance, would we want our physicians to be so out-dated for information?

Warren,

many thanks for your e-mail and invitation to unpack.

I have written posts to question whether it is a mortal sin to support Obama. Here in CE most seem very anti-Obama.

However I do not think it is really appropriate for me to persue this at presnt.

Can I ask you all for continued prayers?

Thanks and regards,

Noel.

Noel:

In politics there is the tendancy to demonize a candidate of the other party - or to view others' criticism of "your" candidate as an attempt to demonize. I'm not "anti-Obama" in the sense that I dislike him. He seems like someone with whom one can easily engage. Rather, I believe that his conscience is improperly formed and that he is decidedly wrong for the country. Other's clearly disagree with me. I actually think McCain is probably someone with whom I would find it difficult to get along on a personal level. I think he is wrong for the country, too. Neither of these candidates is a friend of the constitution of the United States. Both have skeletons in the closet which we can only hope don't turn into boogy-men to scare us.

Please be assured of our prayers. Please keep my family in yours.

In Christ,
Michael

I believe a catholic commits a sin if they vote for oboma ( perhapse a mortal one if it is done in full knowledge).

He is decidedly anti-catholic because of his pro-gay agenda.
