. . . and wondered if trying to keep up with all that Catholic Exchange offers (but, poorly organizes for our return to where we have lent to a string) will require catheterization.
I frankly admit that I go to at least two dozen Catholic (NewAdvent, Pewsitters, EWTN, WDTPRS, et al) and secular (FirstThings on-the-square and blog, Front Page, Commentary, Townhall, HumanEvents and so forth) other sites a day! I have troubles with all the keeping up even as I am a. retired, b. ravenously curious and c. a born student. I'd add "d. intelligent?" which while that sounds proud but is actually querulously skeptical that I AM intelligent. At most other sites I do not comment, in part because they have no means of involvement back-tracking, either. Plus, I frankly refrain from reading comments: it is too much like reading Chesterton annotated by Jerry Springer, all too often.
Has anyone else this fear, frustration, and futility that "knowledgeable = more ignorant"? I find an answer to a question, and garner two, three, a dozen more questions?! (AaaaaaaaaaaaaHhhhhhhhhhh!)
But, why would I want even more venues of Catholic 'exchange' when I cannot have record of where I have joined in on the exchange? It seems like trying to learn to swim by drowning myself. Or, in a big vat of honey.
AND, I will not let any 'Net function cut into my nap time! Let alone prayer time, and I do have to eat, ya know.
